वैशंपायन उवाच एवं बहुविधैर्वाक्यैर्मुनिभिस्तैस्तपोधनैः समाश्वस्यत राजर्षिर्हतबन्धुर्युधिष्ठिरः
M. N. Dutt: Those great ascetics consoled the royal saint Yudhishthira, bereft of his friends with these words.
सोऽनुनीतो भगवता विष्टरश्रवसा स्वयम् द्वैपायनेन कृष्णेन देवस्थानेन चाभिभूः

प्रशान्तचेताः कौरव्यः स्वराज्यं प्राप्य केवलम् व्यासं च नारदं चैव तांश्चान्यानब्रवीन्नृपः
M. N. Dutt: And having regained his kingdom, with a tranquil mind, that prince of Kuru's race thus addressed Vyasa, Narada and the other sages who were present.
आश्वासितोऽहं प्राग्वृद्धैर्भवद्भिर्मुनिपुंगवैः न सूक्ष्ममपि मे किंचिद्व्यलीकमिह विद्यते
M. N. Dutt: I have been consoled by the words of so great, ancient and aged saints as your solves, and I have now no cause left for the least sorrow.
अर्थश्च सुमहान्प्राप्तो येन यक्ष्यामि देवताः पुरस्कृत्येह भवतः समानेष्यामहे मखम्
M. N. Dutt: And likewise, I have attained great riches, with which I may adore the celestials, therefore, with your help, I shall now celebrate the sacrifice.
हिमवन्तं त्वया गुप्ता गमिष्यामः पितामह बह्वाश्चर्यो हि देशः स श्रूयते द्विजसत्तम
AI Translation: O Grandfather, we shall go to the Himālaya, which is protected by you. For, O best of Brāhmaṇas, that country is heard to be full of wonders.

ततो धर्मसुतो राजा तत्रैवोपाविशत्प्रभुः एवं नातिमहान्कालः स तेषामभ्यवर्तत
