M. N. Dutt: Dhritarashtra said What did the son of Dharma, the king of the Pandavas, say after hearing that several armies had collected here for our help.
किमिच्छत्यभिसंरम्भाद्योत्स्यमानो युधिष्ठिरः कस्य स्विद्भ्रातृपुत्राणां चिन्तासु मुखमीक्षते
AI Translation: What does he desire, that Yudhishthira, who is about to fight, is so agitated? Whose brothers and sons does he look at with concern?
के स्विदेनं वारयन्ति शाम्य युध्येति वा पुनः निकृत्या कोपितं मन्दैर्धर्मज्ञं धर्मचारिणम्
M. N. Dutt: Who among them again dissuades him from war, saying-“Be peaceful” him who knows the nature of virtue and who practices virtue and who has been moved to wrath by the wrong done by the wicked ones (my sons).
संजय उवाच राज्ञो मुखमुदीक्षन्ते पाञ्चालाः पाण्डवैः सह युधिष्ठिरस्य भद्रं ते स सर्वाननुशास्ति च
M. N. Dutt: Sanjaya said All the the Panchalas, along with the Pandavas, are looking up to the face of the king Yudhishthira and he, good betide you, rules over them all.
पृथग्भूताः पाण्डवानां पाञ्चालानां रथव्रजाः आयान्तमभिनन्दन्ति कुन्तीपुत्रं युधिष्ठिरम्
