M. N. Dutt: Sanjaya said The Preceptor then, desirous of checking the progress of the son of Pandu, who had now crossed the car-host, began to cover him smilingly with his arrows.
पिबन्निव शरौघांस्तान्द्रोणचापवरातिगान् सोऽभ्यवर्तत सोदर्यान्मायया मोहयन्बलम्
M. N. Dutt: Then seeming to drink in the arrowy showers shot from Drona's bow and confounding your troops by his illusive powers, he began to rush against your sons.

येन शक्रं रणे जित्वा तर्पितो हव्यवाहनः स हन्ता द्विषतां संख्ये दिष्ट्या जीवति फल्गुनः
